TBT to one of the last projects I was working on at the film archive - the preservation of Lauren Bacall’s original 16mm home movies from the 1950s.
Most of the footage was as boring as anyone else’s home movies, but occasionally I’d be winding through the film and suddenly OH HAI DAVID NIVEN.

Film of choice to shoot through the ’Blad.

I know it sounds like a boring choice, but I shoot mostly B&W with the ‘Blad, so I predominately shoot Ilford HP5 because I know its characteristics and exactly how to process it in my darkroom to get the results I want.

Aaaaaaand now I want to go play cameras.

So, tomorrow morning I’m going to give an interview for the CBS This Morning show about the preservation of Too Much Johnson.

I suppose that means three days of stubble and a Joy Division t-shirt won’t constitute an acceptable wardrobe choice.
